I'm Bao Nguyen, a Computer Science undergrad (Junior year) at the University of Arizona with a minor in Artificial Intelligence, graduating May 2027. I focus on backend development and AI engineering. I've built production systems from VLM pipelines and mobile apps to developer tools.

I worked as a Web Developer & Analyst at UA IT Services (Mar 2024 – Feb 2026), where I sped up deployment by 30% via CI/CD optimization, built automation that caught 1,000+ broken links across 4,000 sites, and improved search rankings with Schema.org-aligned Drupal work.

Before that I interned at Tucson Loves Music building VLM-based scrapers and cutting inference costs by 80%, and at Phocos Americas developing the PhocosLink Flutter app (5,000+ downloads) with real-time monitoring and a SyncFusion analytics dashboard.

Background

I'm pursuing a BS in Computer Science (Minor in AI) at the University of Arizona (GPA: 3.68) with coursework in operating systems, algorithms, cloud computing, system programming, web development, and linear algebra. I've worked on mobile apps, web platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI developer tools.

I founded and lead Hack Path Student Association to build an inclusive tech community through weekly meetings, technical workshops, tech talks with alumni from Google, Amazon, and Meta, project-building programs, and career mentorship with the Career Center and 10+ alumni.
